3 Things I Consume Before Breakfast!
3 Things I Consume Before Breakfast as follows;
Making your Bed
Myself!
Water or Hot Tea
We wake up abruptly, tired, disoriented, rushing, fumbling, trying to dress ourselves, our loved ones and stumbling out the door into the world. Usually while being partially awake, and unprepared to be in public.
I am aware not everyone is a morning person, but these are few tips and tricks I use to overcome!
I feel that adding one of these three can help you conquer your day before it conquers you!
The next statement could lose you, but stay with me. You should try waking up earlier! Yes this means going to sleep earlier to make sure you get adequate rest. Waking up earlier gives you the opportunity to wake up in your personal environment and space.
This prevents sluggishly slipping through traffic on little sleep, barely scraping by on the corner store coffee. Making my bed for me gives me a start to my day. It is a task and sets the tone for my day. It is like the bed looks too nice to mess up, and so I feel less inclined to nap and lay in my bed during the day time.
That couch nap hits, but I don’t over do it, and still get a good, quick rest.
Secondly, I say consume yourself as in, “take a moment to tune into yourself” before tuning into the outside world. Take a moment to listen to your internal dialogue, before you consume external energies.
Whether you pray, meditate, or even some other form of listening to self, take some time to engage how you are feeling in that moment. Often times we rush, and miss the chance to smell the roses.
So give yourself time to reset in the morning, without facing the world at your door step.
Lastly, try to add a glass or water or hot tea to your morning routine before breakfast. The water is hydrating to the body after the 6-8 of sleep you just ran through. Trust, you need it.
Also, hot tea is known to jump start your metabolism, and for me, produces a full sensation that leads to me eating less and healthier in the mornings. This helps to prevent starting your morning off sluggish and drained. It is an excellent replacement (for me) for coffee! I recommend you give these three things a try, or even work your way up to all three!
Whatever you do, remember to consume one of these 3 things before breakfast and conquer your day! If you find any of these tips helpful, make sure to subscribe for future posts, comment, and like this posts, and always feel free to share this site with friends and family! You are much appreciated!
