Now you know my secret. I am hands down the most anti-social-social-butterfly you will have ever met

Everyone could use more joy in their lives right? Pure, unadulterated, joy. In my previous post I mentioned finding constructive hobbies to satisfy you. Essentially making time for self, your likes, and avoiding dislikes.

I have been working to be more proactive about my life, living to not use my home as a shell, becoming a lonely hermit in its halls. I am thoroughly aware of myself, and the energy that other people produce. (Every human on earth generates their own electromagnetic current that flows from within themselves.) Due to these many varying energies, I tend to avoid large crowds when necessary.

It can be draining, feeling these different energies all at once.

Leaving me to become annoyed and ready to fly out the door. I think my people (Some would call us the “Washed” folks) understand when they get out for a bit, and after about an hour, we began looking for an exit, relaying to our friends and loved ones we are ready to go.

That’s if I am feeling courteous. I am Houdini when it comes to going home!

Now you know my secret. I am hands down the most anti-social-social-butterfly, you will ever meet. On occasion I will work up the energy to journey into parts unknown to me, to find new and engaging activities to combat the hermit-man in me.

In the midst of my last voyage, I came to find a diamond encrusted structure among the older streets of my city. Talk about discovering joy! I entered this building with much awe. Beautiful structure, with excellent lighting through out. Fine details within the walls and ceilings.

An excellent contrast of hard and soft elements flowed together to engage all of my hermit senses! All of these wonderful attributes for a camera shop! This wonderful place held all kind of trinkets, gadgets, and other tools of the trade.

I smiled ear to ear for the first 40 minutes of the hour that I was in this magnificent palace of all things photography. I am excited to return to this joy, and add to my own personal arsenal. The feeling I gained that day is something I would like you to be able to discover! The responsibilities of adult hood should not be a burden or hindrance to your happiness!

I recommend finding what you like, and exploring every piece (in my Tony Baker voice) of it.

Take time to discover more joy.

How do you find joy in your life?
